His full name was Syed Abdullah Shah Qadri.bulleh Shah existed in the same period as the Sindhi Sufi artist Shah Abdul Latif Bhatai (1689–1752). His lifespan likewise covered with the Punjabi artist Waris Shah (1722–1798), of Heer Ranjha notoriety, and the Sindhi Sufi writer Abdul Wahab (1739–1829), better known by his nom de plume Sachal Sarmast.
